Multi-lingual ohfamoos!
This post is meant for all our non-german speaking friends who might want to read ohfamoos. Google Chrome, Firefox and some other browsers can help you translate our page.
I stumbled upon this perfect tool through my Twitter friend @rubertbu, who is extremely IT-savvy and a whiz-kid in social media. I was really impressed when he suddenly commented on Russian and French tweets on Google+ and Twitter. Gosh, I thought, he is a clever chap.
Clever he is, as he uses a browser extension (app) called Google Translate! Google Translate is a multilingual service provided by Google Inc. to translate written text from one language into another. It supports 90 languages. The extension adds a button to your browser toolbar and you can just click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you are visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page is different from the language you are using for Google Chrome. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. You then just click the ‘Translate’ button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.
It is as easy as 1-2-3 and now all our friends from around the world can read ohfamoos.

Thank you @fanofamd for the comments, Google translate has improved dramatically over the years, to such an extent that I sense it is now very reliable.
Two years ago I would translate three times: 1 original to English; 2 English back to original language; 3 re-translation back to English – enabling me to spot any true boobies! No need for this sequence now.
Unlike mature human beings apps are constantly being updated so it is always worth-while revisiting formerly poor performing apps!
